The classic inca trail is not a common trail, is a PILGRIMAGE, which at inca time has been taken by Inca who was the emperor  accompanied by his entourage even people

Nowadays The Classic Inca Trail start at PISCACUCHO or 82 KM as well, in the sacred valley (is call 82 KM because from Cusco to Piscacucho has 82 KM by the train track). Trail has buildings which we will see from spiritual point of view. Houses with different architectural style, trail which has been paved by interlock stones, 1 and 2 meter wide and some part with 400 or 500 meter deep.

Unforgettable trip, experiencing different altitude, weather, variety of native trees and bushes.

Having rain which from Quechua point of view mean “the blessing of the mountains” and the Sun “sign to have a new day”.

(3000 – 3700 – 4200 – 3600 meters / 9842 – 12 140 – 13 780 – 11811 feet)

Today is starting the “Hardest day” because we have breakfast, you will have chance to know the porter who are traveling with us, every one of them will have different function, in this trip they will be like brothers, once ready we start hiking from the camping spot of Wayllabamba (3000 meters/ 9842 feet), this day will be hard because you’ll climb 1200 meters = 3937 feet. On the way you have the chance to see the native forest. This uphill on the second day we divide in three sectors:

Uphill:

First sector: WAYLLABAMBA – AYAPATA / YUNKACHIMPA

After lunch three ours hiking uphill, we don’t need to Split in different sectors, because it´s going to be gradual from lunch place 3600 to 3800 masl, PUYUPATAMARCA or “Cloud level town”, once we get to last challenge, we accomplish the hard part, but now is coming a long downhill, all time taking your time because you could have problems with knees.
